Once again, SONS OF THUNDER MC hosted an AWESOME and SUCCESSFUL WYS JOU MUIS party on Saturday, 4th October 2008 @ Eagles Nest Pub.
... plenty of WYS but very little MUIS
A very well organized event, however ... I need to ask this ... WHY A PINK BADGE? WHY!!!???
The weather was nice except for the wind that was gusty on the freeway. The festivities kicked off with a bikini bike wash; needless to say there was more water on the crowd than on the bikes. The VERY soapy and luscious dirt eradicating, high polishing, bling refurbishing technicians had no idea how to clean a bike but that's the point I guess. The bikes were dirtier than when they started and so were the minds of a good many people ... Mission accomplished!!!
As the wine flowed like Niagara Falls, the mood became a lot more festive, hearing aid batteries faded and you generally shout and gaat aan, lag en spieg AND que to go to the mens toilet? That was a new one!!
Then a friend of a friend shows up with a freeking white shorts and t-shirt with turbo plakkies AND (Paullie) almost drowns on his dop. Can you say WTF are you thinking? "What is this, amateur hour" A bike function, that attire and to top it off ... "Don't worry, I have an over night bag with a change of clothes"???? Over night bag??? To a day function??? LMIMP
Then there was the wet t-shirt competition or as it was later called "hung jou ROT" competition. No words on the face of the planet can explain the HORROR that was witnessed. Check the pics if you dare...
At least this time the ride home was safe and uneventful ... to a degree!!!
