HULLO MENSE! Hope all you beautiful people are doing well. Another brilliant week
has passed, and aren't you glad ... Saturday [Nov 1] is done. THERE WAS LIKE 30-12
functions to attend!!!
Was nice to see Crystal. Now we just waiting on Wesley ...
Stop sending TURBO's and bring your ass here for a visit!!!! Anyways ... here we
go.
So ... what's wappened ...
THE TAVERN & ALE and WESTLAKE ARMS
These two venues need to be mentioned!!!! Friday night past, a couple of us ended
up at The TAVERN & ALE, in Main Road, Diep River [about opposite Mr. Price].
A really nice vibe ... totally biker friendly ... TOTALLY biker prices!!! Lekker
music (Live "1-man-band". Nats surely enjoyed herself dancing next to the beat whole
night), really good food and a nice change of venue.
After twisting Paullie's rubber arm, Nats, Renè, Paullie and I decided to go to
WESTLAKE ARMS, c/o Main Road & Boyes Drive, in Lakeside. ANOTHER Biker friendly
place, pricing really cool. I mean we paid
R45 for 4 Jager-bombs!!!
With RED BULL!!!!
Good food ... and
fresh popcorn served whole night! LOL!!!

"What a lekker day ...
All started by meeting @ Squarrows Nest for nice cold "long one" and some old-stock
of troubles (brandy-wine). We proceeded in convoy (nice) to collect our New Zealand
visitor and kidnap her for the day. '

sien!' Knees all intact!!!
The PREZ led us to Ottery to attend the White Line Riders’ fundraiser at D’s Jazz
Café. A nice big turnout. Cars, bikes, bikini girls, muscle men and dancers of all
shapes and sizes. Check here ... these girls actually washed the cars and bikes
with soap and lappies and what what ..."

House in Grassy Park for a fundraiser in aid of a Grade 12 learner struggling on
her own."

I received the following disturbing email ...

Hi guys,
A friend and work colleague was tragically killed
on Friday night (24th October) at around 2am outside The Chilli Bar. He was run
over by a light-blue Jetta Fox, who then fled the accident scene. If any of you
know anyone who may have witnessed the accident, or by any chance happen to see
a light-blue Jetta Fox, whose left side and windscreen is accident damaged, then
pls contact Detective Daniel Buys 021 710 7300.

A warning: try and avoid the R300 at all costs. The
entire road is a fcuk up, 10 road works people already died since the revamp started.
The revamp apparently is going to take more than a year ...

Bikers in South Africa against Toll Fees
I came across a very interesting site regarding Tollroads
and bikers, including a current ongoing petition. They advertise the next breakfast
runs via the tollroads, and insist you bring 5c [cent] pieces in order to pay your
tollfee. Here's a snippet from the site ...
"We are bikers who find it grossly unfair to have to pay
toll fees at a rate that Motor cars pay, besides the dangers of stopping on the
side of the road to remove all the gear to find money, causing a disruption and
being sworn at it."
The site explains itself and the abuse of bikers and motorcyclists.
