HURRICANE AQUATICS SUNSET "BIKE & CAR" CRUISE fundraiser
I've put together a SUNSET CRUISE run this Friday night for both bikes and cars
as part of a fundraiser for HURRICANE AQUATICS swimming club. Here's the low down
...
As some of you already know, and for those that don’t know:
Shelley and 4 fellow team mates (out of +/- 40 team members) have qualified for
Western Province level 1 swimming! For those of you who don't know ... this is a
BIG DEAL and a really great achievement after only +-6 months of
competitive club swimming. They have been entered in the Level 1 WP Championship
from 28th to 30th March 2009. These 5 athletes need to be fully kitted for the championships
ie: swimsuits / swimcaps / tracksuites / goggles / tog bags ... just to give you
an idea.
We, the parents, have been hosting fundraisers (till we are blue in the face) to
get them this far. So, for this huge event we have the following fundraiser and
would love you guys to support please?
So this is where we’d like to entice you for your support ...
Friday, the 13th March 2009, HURRICANE AQUATICS will be having a fundraiser at Kalky's
@ Kalk Bay Harbour for the Western Province swimmers.
Tickets are only R35 and this will include a "fish & chips, Salad and roll" meal.
Tickets can be purchased from myself and/or Nats.
** Also note that Kalky’s is licenced **
So ... the Sunset Bike & Car Cruise, goes as follows, for those of you that
are available:
We will meet @ MacDonalds, Tokai from 6pm, to leave @ 6.30pm. The proposed route
will be as follows:
- Leave MacDonalds and turn right into Tokai Road (Blue Route Mall)
- Left onto the M3 all the way to Steenberg road.
- Right at Steenberg Road at then proceed on Oukaapseweg.
- All the way over Oukaapseweg, and proceed straight into and over Glencairn Express.
- At the main road intersection, turn left and proceed to the Kalk Bay harbour for
some lekka "FEESH AND CHIPS!!!"

Every Wednesday night from 8.30pm
BRANDY BOMB ... JOU VARK!!!!
Every Wednesday night is BIKER NIGHT @ 1 Twelve, where the drinks are goed-koop,
the atmosphere lekka, the music befok ... and all the bikers socializing like it
were a day function of a rally!! Hey ... the perfect venue for in-between biker
functions during the week!!!
And if you haven't had your lips taste a 1 Twelve BRANDY BOMB ... then you are clearly
missing out.

DYNO DAY ... sooooo much fun!!!!
A very well organised event that had a little bit of everything. Loud pipes, fast
bikes and hot babes!!!! For those that didn't have the nerve to put their bikes
on the dyno, some very hot babes were available to wash your bike. Great turnout
... one lekka event.

The BUFFALO Rally 2009 commences on Friday, 20 March to 22 March 2009 at the Santos
Resort in Mossel Bay.

Swallows Rally 2009
27 - 29 March 2009
Swallows Flight MCC, cordially invite you to attend our 13th Annual Rally to be
staged at the best rally site in the Cape.
The Swallows Rally is an annual social gathering of motorcycling enthusiasts for
a weekend of fun, brotherhood and festivities.
The rally will officially open on Friday the 27th March 2009 at 12h00 until Sunday
29th March 2009.
Prizes this year are worth more than R350 000!!
Entry fees will be R180.00 per person, which will include a metal badge. Any person
entering the campsite for the weekend or part thereof, will be liable for the full
entry. Each entrant must complete a separate entry form to qualify for the lucky
draw. We request that you enter early as to avoid dissapointment and to enable us
to cater adequately for your needs. Due to complaints from the past, we regret to
advise you that NO CARS and QUADS will be allowed inside the campsite. Secured parking
will be provided outside the campsite.
SHARKS RALLY 2009
1 - 3 May 2009
The
10th Annual Sharks Rally for 2009 will be hosted by those friendly
VIKINGS at Kliprivier Park, in Tulbagh. You
all know that this
is one HELLUVA KWAAI rally, so get your entries in early!!
This year, prizes are worth
R200 000, with the first prize being
a
Suzuki GSX-R 750 K8 worth R118 000!!!!.
I know you want this!!! So make sure you enter early.
Entry for this rally weekend is R160pp.

ADULT OPEN DANCE CLASSES
Every Tuesday @ Mary Atlee Centre
We shall be having Adult Open Dance classes every Tuesday at Cafda, Mary Atlee Centre.
Time: 6:30pm-7:15pm

Styles: Jazz, Funk, Stretching, Hip-hop, Contemporary - everything we need to do
to get our bodies moving.
